Hey there! My name is Erin-Leigh Hoffman. I am a journalist and recent graduate of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. I am a news reporter with the Greenfield Recorder based in western Massachusettes.

My previous roles include managing editor and opinion editor at the student-run newspaper at Marist, the Marist Circle. I was also a freelance journalist with the Highlands Current, writing stories covering community events, artists, and local businesses. In April 2024, I won a New York Press Association (NYPA) award for education coverage with the Current, and I received a certificate of merit from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CPSA) during the 40th Gold Circle Awards for breaking news coverage in the Marist Circle in April 2023.

When I’m not writing, I’m performing. I’ve been a lifelong musician. I am a singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist.
